Under the circumstances...

This is just a note to let you know that this is my journal. I say things here that I might not say out loud to friends or family. I don't expect anyone to respond althought it is nice. I myself don't always have time to read or respond to my friends blogs. If you want to comment on something that you read, please us the Chatter at me? link. I will definitely see that where I might not see it in your blog. I try to do the same for others that have such links. Hugs and kisses to you all. Jen C

I promise I am not a procrastinator. I just don't want to do it right now!

Hey Karen, I love any of the In Death books by JD Robb. Did you know that that is also Nora Roberts? I love her romances too. And, :: slurping lips :: Really, who needs to see his face... # 9 would get my vote too. Although Mel and Sean were close behind. I do think that a man in a kilt is sexy. :: sigh :: I also think that a man in uniform is sexy. *Heehee* I love it when my husband comes home from the Air National Guard. All dressed up in his uniform...

Bonnie I am glad to hear that you are doing well after your surgery. I am not sure what you had done, but I had 3 C- Sections, and it takes a while to recover. Rest up and take care of yourself.

Sandra, Just wanted to let you know that there are some of us keeping up with you, even if I don't blog it. *G*

Aaarrgghh....Deb, I keep forgetting to say this... I hope that Emily isn't in too much pain. And, I love the New Other Side. It looks wonderful. You and all those who put work into it did a great job. I can't wait to dive in and read some of the new stuff.

Chris, it sounds like we speak the same cooking language. 'Simple' is my motto too. I don't like to cook, so I do it as quickly and easily as possible. I will have to look for yours especially.

Thank you to all of you who have blogged or even just thought about my grandmother and my family.

I have never heard of a charter school, Claire. I will have to look that one up. I hear that you are going to the convention? Can't wait to meet you!

I have always wanted a lot of kids, but my husband only wanted 3. So I decided that 3 was ok. He has a vasectomy after the youngest turns 2. I don't know, I guess I am not paying attention or something, because I thought that when he got back test results for the 2nd time telling us that his count was negative, that it was ok for me to go off of my birth control. So here we are... la de dah, la de dee... someone tells me that I really need to wait up to 6 months after a "V" to go off of the birth control pills. And I am thinking, 'OMG, what if I get pregnant? What am I going to do?' So I talk to Darren, and tell him that we should probably wait, and see if I am pregnant before going without protection again. Then about a week later, he tells me that 'if we did get pregnant again, that we would have the baby.' And by this time, I am not sure when I started last, because I never thought to keep track. So going through my mind is, 'OG, I want another baby... But Darren doesn't... Please God let me be pregnant... No, don't let me be pregnant...' Well now, it is a moot point. I am not pregnant. And I am sad. I really wanted to have one last baby. I mean, what if it had been my little girl? I was sure that my youngest two were girls, and almost cried when they weren't. I will never have a chance to have another child. Unless Darren and I divorce, which I don't see happening. I know, I know, part of this is PMS, but this has been a long debate between everyone, 'How many children should Darren and Jennifer have'? I hear you saying that it is no ones business but ours, but it doesn't really matter when Darren's mind is made up.
And most days I agree with him. We really have our hands full with the three that we have. We don't need any more. And then I think, oh, I don't know....

Good Morning all. Had a great weekend. Wanted to do some spring cleaning this weekend, but ended up playing with the kids outside most of the time. I rode my bike for the first time in 5 years. I mean that literally. The last time I rode one, was before I was pregnant with Austin. He is 5, so... I am so sore today. I forgot how many muscles that uses.

My mother moved in for at least 3 days. She is trying to decide if she wants to divorce Bob or not. He keeps turning all of the complaints that she has about him, back onto her. This keeps her in a confused state. So my sister suggested that she stay with me for a while to clear her head and get some time to think. (it was ok for my sister to suggest that, because she knows that my mom has an open invitation to stay here. *G*)

I get up yesterday, and am missing 2 pens that had been on my desk. I asked my husband where they were, and he said his standard "I don't know". (I don't even know why I bother to ask him anymore. He always says the same thing.) Anyhoo, I said think about it, he says that the Justin was playing on the computer this morning, so I ask Justin where the pens were. Justin tells me that Daddy took them from him. Darren is like, "ok, maybe I did. Look for a cup. If I put them away that is where I would have put them." Well we found them in a basket up high, and Justin pipes up, "I told you that Daddy took them!" A few minutes later when I was on the phone, Justin went up to Darren, and said "Daddy, you shouldn't put mommy's pens where she can't find them." Darren: "Your right." Justin: "You'll learn." By this time, Darren is cracking up. Kids can be so grownup sometimes, can't they?

Have any of you seen "The Road To El Dorado"? (of course, it is much cheaper at WalMart than at amazon.) We just got it for the boys recently, and I think that it is hillarious. It has great animation, and the sound track is wonderful (mostly Elton John), but the characters are just too funny. I recommend it to anyone.
